Sad to see the greats become shells of their former selves for sure. Pujols has basically steadily declined after turning 30 the way players always did before the age of PEDs. There were also some rumors earlier this year that he is actually a few years older than everyone thought, which is apparently not that uncommon for these guys who come over from the islands when they are kids. If thats the case and hes really actually 40+ years old, this is not too shocking. Three years left on the contract is going to be a grind though. Definitely will finish his career under .300 average, which is sad. Those rumors have been around for YEARS now... this year was certainly not the first time I've heard them. I have heard it a bunch in general about some players, cant remember any specifically, but never Pujols. Im sure its always been floating around and I just never heard it. I guess we probably should have realized when Albert Pujols was a 37 year old high school senior...  |

So... Think tonight's lo ss to the sux was bad? The O's won 6 games in June all to teams from the N L. Their last win vs an AL team??? May 25. Sucks to be an O's fan!!!
(On this tablet if i correct a misspelling i have to delete the whole word or else it looks like the above "lo ss". Anybody know how to fix that? )

I was talking about for trade although they'll probably bid for hi m as well .They do have the highest payroll in baseball. Lol. Remember when they threw that in our face. If the Sox traded for Manny and had to give up serious talent that they'd regret especially if he winds up signing in the NL this off season... AND he turned into a pumpkin in the playoffs I'd be all for that. Say they give up Benintendi and Devers or something |

If they get Manny, I’m quitting BB oh c'mon......You are rating Manny way too high.....he would make any team better, because he's a good player, but he does not move the RS needle much over Devers or Boegarts……………..just as he would not move the needle much over Andujar or Didi.....I don't think Manny makes sense for either the RS or Yankees.....if the RS are foolish enough to move one of their left-side players for a rental, please have them do it...…. |
