The procedure involved a loose-body removal and cartilage clean-up. The good news is that he's expected to be recovered in time for spring training. It was acknowledged that Judge had a shoulder issue during his slide after the All-Star break, though he tried to downplay the severity of the situation. Obviously it was more serious than he wanted to say. Judge won the AL Rookie of the Year Award and finished second in the balloting for the AL MVP after batting .284/.422/.627 with a league-leading 52 homers. So, even though no one is saying...there COULD have been a reason for all of the weak contact that went on for a few weeks...and then he got a bit better and tore the league up again at the end of the season...Hmmm... |

Judge will never use that as an excuse... Even if it was the reason for the slump.. He'll never admit to it. Guys a great ball player and a great human. Very humble and no excuses. Hope he's a Yankee for life. I think his war this year was almost as much as sterling Hitchcock career lol

Dallas Keuchel sprained foot during WS paradeDallas Keuchel suffered what the Astros are referring to as a minor left foot sprain when he slipped during the team's World Series victory parade. Oops. TMZ Sports first reported news of the injury and had video with Keuchel wearing a walking boot. The boot is considered precautionary, though, and the team has indicated that the ailment isn't a big deal. WE now figure that Stanton will be traded to either, The Giants, Seattle or Dodgers and that Otani/Ohtani will choose one of those teams too.
