The Red Sox starting pitchers have a collective ERA of 13.20 through the first four games. This is the worst for any team after four games in the last ten years. Yeah, I know, only 158 games to turn it around. But it's a little ray of sunshine while the Yankees go through their own out-of-the-gate annoyances. LOL, Red Sox.  |

Bogarts close to an extension. Is Judge next? We can only hope so. Id like to see him locked up through 35...so basically buy out his remaining arb years (through age 30) then an additional 5 years on top of that. I think that is fully fair for how important he is to this franchise. |

Boston's pitching woes continue as Price gets slammed for three home runs in a loss to Oakland. Maybe we should be hoping that none of those guys get injured.

They lost 4 out of 5 only once last year. We have to remember that every broke perfectly for Boston last year. Thats not to suggest they werent/arent a very very good team but they had a near perfect season in 2018. Going to be very hard to replicate that and they are worse on paper. |

See some folks on Twitter saying the deal may be a little light for Acuna (8 years $100mm extension) but when we consider hes making $560k right now and they have 5 more years of control figure the trade off for Acuna is a huge raise right now and less that he *might* get in future years. I also dont think teams are going to be will to go all out for guys who have only one big year (even if they have huge upside).
