De Grom has done okay, but he’s on the IL. Katz has been okay at 4.03, yet the Mutts are tied for first with the Philadelphia Harpers at 12-10...

Ex-Yank Kirby Yates is off to a good start with 13 saves already. He’s fanned 23 in his 15 innings, and sports a 0.60 ERA. He seemed to be tantalizingly close to dominating hitters when he was here. Now, at 32 years of age, he’s become a killer...

The Mets finally did the merciful thing and DFA'd Travis D'Arnaud. He showed some promise when he first came up, but it's been heavy sledding recently.
Now maybe Jets fans will gradually quit pronouncing Sam Darnold's name as D'Arnaud.

I also was not aware that he was originally drafted by the Red Sox way back in 2005. It's been a long road for him to get to this level. |
