Yeah, it's tough for you guys living on East Coast time....not so bad with the Mountain Time start here....Rizzuto lives in California, I think....Krazy Karl in Vegas....dome in Baja, but he will be passed out by the 2nd inning from something....we will try to finish the game if you go off to bed....(grin)….

Got the 8:05 MT start time here in Colorado. Plus Ruthie doesn’t care which TV set she watches, so I have the 65” to myself. Feet up high in the recliner. The game will be over by my normal bedtime unless there are extra innings. I surely hated West Coast games when I lived in MD. I didn’t stay up for them...I admire you guys that do. It has to be tough to go to work the next morning...Unless you happen to be Kaybli with his flexible hours and vampire like habits...🧛♂️
Is that emoji a vampire, or Howard Cosell? I could never tell the difference. I’m with Michael Kay. I miss Howard. He was a polarizing figure, but I was on the positive pole...
OAK-land al-A-med-A coll-a-SEE-um was indeed on of his best, Michael. Thanks for the nostalgia...

Thanks for the nostalgia... lots of Howard memories of course as do all except the youngest here......one is when, during a WS broadcast, Howard noted the marked resemblance of Willie McGee to the then hottest movie character, E.T.....Howard was right, but out of "correctness" or whatever, the booth cut him off and it was clear the director was unhappy, and Howard clearly did not understand he had said something wrong....maybe one of you clever guys can pull up pictures of McGee and E.T.....I can see a resemblance and I don't see anything wrong with recognizing it... |
