This team has a very odd feel to it, idk what it is but it feels like there is just something missing. Leadership? Its pretty amazing that this team was in 1st place as late as July 4th or so. |

this team is too talented to have the lows they have had... You would never know this team has won 90 games already sometimes. A lot of those wins came in the first half of season. They're not the same team right now. |

This team has a very odd feel to it, idk what it is but it feels like there is just something missing. Nah, obviously those two would help, but this started back in like June. Idk, something is amiss. Running out of time to find it and things won't get any easier, six left vs. BOS and four games in Tampa. Could be looking at a road trip to end year that consists of Tampa, Boston, then out to Oakland or Houston for wild card. If lucky to win that, back to Boston to start five game series. |

I’m not a fan of these “catcher’s indifference” or “defensive indifference” ruling. When a runner takes off to streak second, he has no idea whether or not the defense might break strategy and decide to throw to get him out. There is still a risk, no matter how small, and credit should be given for the stolen base.
I suppose a catcher might complain that would hurt his SB/CS %. Perhaps it could simply count as a “team stolen against” instead of on his personal ledger if he didn’t throw in those circumstances that prompt them to allow the free advance...
