And of course it doesn't help that the Yankees scored 3 quick runs in the first and have slept walk since.

Seems like I’ve seen this before. Bring Cole into the game. He gets ripped, sits on bench with wide eyes. Kahnle follows and exasperbates the issue by giving up more rockets. Once the lead is gone, Boone pulls Kahnle and Green or Robinson are called on... This is a goofy manager. I tried to like him. I tried to believe. I can’t do it... Maybe Cash will hire a manager out of the stands next spring. Maybe from our forum. I’m too old for the job, and don’t want to travel. Chi, will you take it? I don’t want Dome to get it... Buck is going to be available. Maybe we can bring him back for another go around. Where is Billy Martin buried? I’ll drive if you’ll help me dig him up...We could take him to Bernie’s for the week end...clean him up and Cash might give him a three-month contract, and Hal can do a funny commercial with him...

Baltimore has 35 hits in this series, that's hard to believe.

Logic would say that in a three game series with the Orioles we should win at least one game in a laugher... Instead, we moan and bitch through all three ... Boonie-Ball!!!

Boone might go up into the stands and ask a player’s mom to pitch before this is over...

Imagine how frustrating it has to be to play for Boone. You go 2-4, crank a homer, and the next day you’re either sitting or suddenly dropped from 4th in the lineup to 8th while you watch a .220 hitter occupy the spot in the order you did yesterday. A .220 hitter who incidentally is playing out of position and hasn’t had a hit in a week but needs to get going... Then you get a lead and he scrapes the bottom of the bullpen to give it back... And, all with an expanded roster.

Joseph Carbonaro looks good for a 95- year old dude! Bless his heart! I think these tributes are terrific...

I really don’t get names sometimes. How does a guy named Alfred Manuel wind up being called Billy?
Why did Ruth’s mom, whose name is Celeste, name her Celeste Ruth and then call her Ruth?
I spoke a fellow yesterday who was one of seven siblings who were all given first names that started with “T”, which still leads to confusion.
Where in the heck did my mom come up with “Leon”???
