Yes, for sure. Their farm system isn’t that strong at the moment.

Yes, for sure. Their farm system isn’t that strong at the moment. Neither is the Yankees when you only consider players at the AA or AAA level. The Yanks are little short on major league ready prospects. |

What's the additional surcharge for the Yankees making a trade with the Mets as opposed to other teams? No way the Metsies trade Thor to the Bronx unless Cashman really over pays. That’s probably true and one of many reasons why the Mets continue to be a losing franchise. That won’t change under this ownership. |

I really want to keep Andujar. His bat will only get better. I agree. But my gut tells me that they might deal him for pitching, sign Machado and consider it a net gain. I wouldn’t but I could see Hal and Cashman doing that. |

Here’s a really bad idea. Presumably this is Seattle floating this. I really enjoyed Cano when he was a Yankee and would have preferred that we had kept him but have no interest in trading for what’s left of his career and contract now. Terrible idea.
