Too bad Cashman didn't get Melky and Ian Kennedy back so he could include them in the next great block buster Yankee trade.

Eight teams in ten years since his five-year stint in NY. He still hits pretty well, but his fat little post-PED body doesn’t have the speed it once did. He only got to play about half the time last year, but he’s only one year away from back to back years with 86 and 85 RBI. Where did the time go, mother? Our little boy will be 34 this year...And he’s still playing Pirate... ARRR...He hasn’t stood in CF since 2014, and that was an emergency situation for the Jays...

If Jim Duguette can throw out a baseless rumor, so can I. My brother-in-law's best friend is a Chicago police officer who moonlights working security for the White Sox. The club asked him if he's available later this week to work security for a press conference to either announce the signing of or introduce Machado as a member of the Chi Sox. Maybe this all BS or maybe Machado has realized the Yanks won't come any near Chicago's offer and is taking the best deal while it's still on the table?

Doesn't sound good for James Kaprielian.

I wouldn’t call this “baseless”...this is what you call “the word on the street”...

Ha ha, he hates the White Sox, so I'm sure he wants the Yanks to come in late and steal Machado.

These teams have no incentive to try to win. And that is an interesting reaction to the situation...Heck, I LIKE it when the Yankees have all the money. Take a look at the political thread in a few when I spin the rest of my comments on this subject that way...
