I actually had a wrong post here but I too quick action to throw people off the scent and it appears to have worked.

Appreciate the updates, Chi. Here come those deadline pitching upgrades we hoped for. Better late than never!!! I feel a bit better about the trade deadline now after seeing Trevor Bauer sporting a 7.31 ERA after three starts for the Reds and Marcus Stroman not much better at 6.10 after two starts with the Mets. Among the starting pitchers who actually did get traded at the deadline, those were the two names that seemed to pop up most often for the Yanks to pursue. Not many were clamoring for Aaron Sanchez, and at least in the early going he has been the best of the lot. Feel free to insert appropriate John Sterling quote. |
