Oh, I forgot. I always look in my mailbox before reaching in for the mail. I use a flashlight at night. I have read that they will build in mailboxes... I’m pretty gutsy and unafraid of most “creepy crawlies”. Even the one that was in our bed the other night (still have no clue what that was), but I do try to not take unnecessary chances with nature... Yea there's always something hiding in the mailbox. Luckily the wasps that always circled my mailbox have left. Alright, lets try to steer this convo back to injuries. I don't want to think about bugs while I try (key word being try) to sleep anyway.

I think the real question is if they can stay unhurt.
I don't see anywhere we can use Andujar on this team. Do we want to give up Urshela who has been better defensively and offensively. And we have EE at DH (the only place I could see Andujar playing this year).

And we have EE at DH (the only place I could see Andujar playing this year). Here is a different take. Andujar has missed the entire season. Yes, he played a handful of games, but he wasn’t right. Even if he had played this year, he still had to prove that his rookie year was not a fluke. Urshela has performed far above his expected ceiling. At this point, he also must prove that he can repeat his 2019 performance in 2020. In that respect, both are a bit of a gamble. Since we know Urshela I’d a far better defender, it would seem as though Gio would be the lesser risk of the two. The equation is not quite as easy as it appears to solve on the surface. I wouldn’t be fast to pull the trigger on trading either one. It would seem that we would have to sell low, very low, on Andujar. Another potential piece of this puzzle is first base. Voit had a decent season, but no where near as explosive as his 2018 season, and is less than stellar defensively. Ford showed some possibilities at the position, but also isn’t reminding anyone of Don Mattingly around the bag. Could one of Urshela or Andujar become a first baseman? I have strong doubts about Andujar, but believe Urshela could learn quickly. We have great depth right now, but as players become healthier, we will need to release the logjam...

I don't see Andujar playing any position but DH. We are going to keep Urshella and LMH. He sure the heck is not going to be a 2b even if DD leaves and we move Torres.

I was going to ask this question too in a new thread so looks like I don't have to create a new one. I pretty much agree. You have to keep Andujar and Urshela for 2020... both had great seasons (Andujar's 2018 and Urshela this season) but they both need to prove that's who they are. It wouldn't be the first time a player was hot for the whole season and that was their peak. I like Urshela's defense a lot better obviously but I think Andujar has the better bat. I would definately give Andujar a 1B mitt this winter... never hurts to have too many options. Especially with the injuries. I think Voit has proved himself in my eyes.. he was great this season until he got hurt in London. I'm sure that sport hernia is still lingering and if he didn't get hurt he would've had a much better season.

Yankees don’t think James Paxton’s glute injury is too serious; Local Colorado man with butt injury can empathize

He can’t be worse than Frazier out there. I don’t think they will re-sign Encarnacion for that $20m option because they’ll spend that money on pitching. So Miggy can be a DH/LF and Urshela is your starting 3B. I would agree with you about 1B if they didn’t already have Voit and Ford who I think probably has proven to be too valuable for them to let walk now that he’s out of options.
