I can't see how you overturn this. That moron in the stands definitely interfered with Gordon and was in the field of play but I don’t think Gordon was going to catch it.

Torres really hit that ball high. I was surprised it carried that far. Clearly interfered with... If Gordon's arm is over the fence, the fan is allowed to interfere with it.

This has already taken too long.

Replay is hurting sports as much as it helping. What a joke.

I don’t like it, but I think the call was right...

I think you have it backwards. If the fan is in the stands and not in the field of play he can interfere. If he reaches over as this jackass did, he cannot.

31 straight games on base. Another 53 and he ties Ted Williams... Well, 53 plus having his head severed and frozen. I think he’d get credited with tying the record if he waits until after he dies to have the head done...

If he reaches over as this jackass did, he cannot. And then, once interference has occurred, the only just call is an out. As a fan, you need to take responsibility to not do something stupid that may hurt your little heroes running around in the field. Of course, when you’re already seven beers into the day when you enter the ballpark and are sucking them down like it’s your bachelor party at the stadium, stuff happens...

If the stupid fan just stood there and waited for the ball, it would have hit him the chest, but then again he's fan. Maybe they should have just ruled it a ground rule double to make it fair.

My point rally, where Gordon's arm was, there was no way he was going to catch that. That’s the problem with the fan being such an idiot. Go to the stadium, know the rules...I have serious doubts the could be caught, but once the interference occurs, that becomes irrelevant...

If there was no interference, the ball woujd have been either caught, or a home run. Take the fan out of the equation and there is no way that ball would have been a ground rule double. Home run or out. Out was the right call, and I believe the fan should be ejected from the park...
