Mike Ford still DHing, with Voit at 1B. Fan Graphs calls Ford a 50 fielder...I wouldn’t think Voit to be much better...I like the way Ford is working the count...

I was never a big fan of Kate Smith, but now I find the stretch a bit ho-hum. I hope they don’t find any dirt on the organist. They may have to ask the crowd to start humming...

I’m glad they got rid of it, although the reasoning behind it is confounding. We don’t need all of this pseudo patriotism forced into a sporting event. |
