Gardner hit a HR yesterday so obviously he's got to sit today.

I'm surprised Tauchman didn't get benched as well, but I guess you can't bench both of them. I get it, Gardner was never supposed to play this much. But I hate sitting a guy who is having a little bit of a run.
I won't make fun of Fillmyer since it backfired with Lovelady. Tough pitcher, we'll be lucky to get a hit

We’ll be lucky to get a hit out of this bottom 44% of the lineup, that’s for certain. Plus, I really don’t get batting Judge second with all the power missing from the lineup...I’d much rather Drop him down a notch or two to see if we can get somebody on base for him...Although with THIS lineup it’s hard to figure out who to bat second...
Boone is an odd duck. When DJ was hot, he was at or near the bottom of the line up. Now that his average has plummeted about 80 points, let’s lead him off!!!

Fillmyer is better than Verlander or Kershaw or Scherzer or DeGrom at the top of their games. He is arguably the greatest pitcher in the history of the game.

And since Fillmyer only has about 60Ks in his 80 so career innings, watch him pitch 6 2/3 innings today with 17Ks as Yankee hitters flail hopelessly at some pitches and stand stock-still, frozen like a fawn in the woods while looking at pitches down the middle of the plate...
Fillmyer. You can only dream of getting a hit...

Fillmyer is better than Verlander or Kershaw or Scherzer or DeGrom at the top of their games. He is arguably the greatest pitcher in the history of the game. They don't call him Cy Fillmyer for nothing. He is the greatest pitcher in the history of the game, no argument about it. He is unflappable on the mound. His breaking ball is unhittable. His fastball can't be touched. Even Babe Ruth wouldn't stand a chance. Just look at that godly visage:
