So, I’m not reporting anything I know, just some stuff I heard and what I think could happen, unless something else happens, which is entirely possible especially when I put it in a run on sentence like this because I don’t know how to separate one thought from another, which this article fails to do... |

If we were outbid on a one year deal, I think this was a mistake unless it was something outrageous. But if this is a situation where we didn't throw an extra few million around, I think we will regret it later.

But the Yankees drew a line in the sand and that might not have been smart to do publicly... then the other teams will dare them to change their minds... |

I'm just waiting to say cheap cheap cheap! if I hear the Braves went 1 year 20 million and the Yanks would only do the 1 year 17.9 million qualifying offer style (the money is prorated too). Don't let me hear that!

Don't let me hear that! I think the 17.9 people-rated was fair. How long will it take Beardie Boy to be ready to pitch? How effective will he be? Give me a kid that still has a bit of fuzz on his cheeks and a big arm that we can control for another three years. We need a longer term solution... Matt Boyd would be a great add... |
