Not sure I'm going to credit that call. Sounded like you were making a sarcastic comment about Tauchman's unlikelihood of hitting a homer. Sarcasm does come naturally for me, but I told my wife before his last at bat that I had a feeling he was going to hit one today. Just wrong at bat.

Voit is taking a lot of strikes these past two games.

"In some games the situation exists where a bunt may make sense, but in many it does not."
I agree entirely.
Rizzuto I should have said advancing runners without a hit not home run.

Perfect! I root for Tauchman and believe there’s more to him than meets the eye... welcome to the Mike Tauchman Fan Club!!! really!!?...you're casting aside Gardner for the new, pretty, face?.....you're a front-runner, inger…. Not at all. If Gardner is starting, Tauchman makes an ideal 4th OF. If Gardner is assigned the role of 4th OF, Tauchman makes an ideal 5th OF, even if that means he rides the Scranton shuttle. If Gardner retires, Tauchman is a fine heir-apparent to the 4th OF role... If Hicks happens to be injured again, then Gardner should rightfully be assigned the CF spot, spelled on occasion by Tauchman. Gardnerism has never been stronger. The donations continue to roll in, and are safely being stored in a secret vault for the day they will be used to save the world...I refuse to count the money...

I'll take either way.

gardner was my favorite yankee for a really long time. is that because Gardner is a Yankee who can bunt? because he tried hard and was good at fundamentals generally. And was not a jerk. The anti-arod the Yankees I detested more than any I can remember
