Does anyone have words of wisdom, comfort, or condolence? LSU may not win another game this season if they play like today. [img src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/lD0IYnVdZbyEdSEWlEUC.gif" class="smile" alt=" "]

I thought LSU may have turned a bit of a corner last game defensively, but this was just embarrassing. Auburn played with more physicality and passion, but it appeared to be a mismatch from the beginning. Without any attempt at exaggeration, this is a historically bad LSU defense.

It’s how they come back from those downturns that makes the difference. Besides, the world is such a weird place right now...

The SEC has very little defense. Florida's defense finally had a good game yesterday against Mizzou, but they were awful the first three games. Sure would be nice if Bama would lose.

That just makes the SEC like the rest of the conferences. With all the rule changes to enhance the passing game, there's very little defense being played these days.

While we may witness a single half of defense, four quarters is creeping toward the new normal of the five-inning starting pitcher.

By the way, credit Brent Venables and the Clemson defense for pitching a second-half shut down of Boston College, enabling a comeback win.

The death of defense is what has sent me scurrying away from the NFL. I hate to know that College Ball has come to that point, too...Both are more about possession than execution now. Short possessions leading to quick scores have replaced long, intellectual drives vs. smart defense...
