Where is the boss when we need him "Meanwhile, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reported that while the Yanks have expressed interest in Marte (and Martino confirmed), New York is "reluctant" to add payroll for 2020, which he says "complicates" their pursuits of Marte and pitching help." That is crazy. Sounds crazy until you take a good look at what's been available the past two weeks. You have Voit & Frazier and that's it, no one was hitting. |

I'd be disappointed if I was a Tribe fan. They haven't won the World Series since 1948 and with their pitching staff, they had as good as chance as anyone.

We have Cole, Tanaka, Montgomery, even Happ had a great start last time, Garcia, and as backup Loaisiga, King, maybe Schmidt, and Paxton when he comes off the IL. No need to mortgage the future for another starting pitcher. |

Yea, I mean if you get a great deal you take it, but I wouldn't give up Garcia, Schmidt, or Frazier and that's what other teams will want. |
