The Yankees are LOSERS again. No doubt you have reason to gloat. The Rays emergence as a strong and competitive squad has been amazing. What can we say in retort? That you got lucky? Since you beat us 11-5 in total games played, that’s unlikely. We used to have a couple Red Sox fans that posted with us because they didn’t like the Red Sox forums. That went on for years. We’d like to make you feel welcome to post along here with us as often as you want... |

The worst thing is, WE keep making the same/similar yearly decisions/actions yet EXPECT different results.
YES, we can learn from the RAYS -- only if we put our EGOS aside.
RAYSFAN: Hang around our board --we have a couple of interesting characters here.
Hoping the RAYS beat Houston & win the WS (got $$$ riding on it).

I miss those other points of view. For years, I was a Yankee fan on a Red Sox forum (now defunct), and those were some lively conversations. All in good spirit for the most part, too. |

At least the Rays aren’t banging on trash cans and surreptitiously installing sign stealing cameras and signaling devices. I’ll give the Rays poster a pass, they aren’t used to this whole winning thing yet. New territory for them.  |

We don’t know if he’s 12 years old or 40. In fact even if he is a he or a her, or doesn’t which one yet. But the fan knows that his/her team won. That always feels good... |

Yea plus on top of it, it was a 60 game season if it was 162 the Yankees most likely catch and pass them. |
