On the Yankees, I really hope some major changes are made in the offseason, but I'm not holding my breath. The first bad sign is that it looks like Boone will be back.

Great to see you back, dome! Sorry to hear about your medical issues. It sucks getting old, but I've had a few friends who are no longer with us who wish they were old.

I met a fellow who has an aviary built onto the front of his southwestern-facing home and has at least a dozen exotic birds in it. All different colors and species. Some are really huge. They talk back and forth. I was able to stick my head in the aviary one day and it set them all of screeching and yelling. What a cacophony! He says most were rescues. They appear to be wonderfully cared for. The house is quite isolated and was built on a small mountain top. Four wheel drive required to get there…

That was probably the “involvement” he had in the discussion. Are you staying? Because the way we see it, either they have to go, or you have to go. So, if you want to stay, we’re changing the coaching staff. So if you want to keep them, you’re gone anyway and so are they. You get it?… |

So, Boone’s in-game decisions were unpopular with the front office? That seems to contradict the belief that Boone was a puppet and was following a script.
