Hal loves inaction, it's why his top lieutenants, Randy, Lonn, and Cashman, have stayed in place for quite a while. The organization told you all they needed to tell you when they built a new YS. They didn't care about the historical advantage original YS brought to the team, and it's coming home to roost now. Look at Fenway, that place is what YS used to be, a guaranteed win for the home team with late inning magic every postseason series played there the last 15 years.
Boone coming back tells you they don't put a premium on the dysfunction we saw the last two years defensively, running the bases, miscommunications in the OF, etc. While it's understandable that Boone didn't put these guys on the roster, a lot of them have regressed under his and his staff's watch. Something needs to change, whether Boone is back or not, the roster needs major changing to shore things up.

The old stadium, the House that Ruth Built, is missed. The fans were closer to the field and the environment more intimate and raw. I was aghast when they decided to scrap it, an edifice of history turned into a ghost of nostalgia, like so many other great ballparks, except for Wrigley and Fenway. Yankee Stadium III is more monument than ball field. Impressive but lifeless, like a museum in which every exhibit leads to the gift shop.

...The Yankees keeping Boone is really great news for Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays fans because it helps the chances their team will score wins over the Yankees because of Boone's incompetence.

I think we might as well resign ourselves to the fact that Boone will be back unless he decides it’s time to move closer to home and family and is accepted to manage the Padres.
I do believe that as poorly as he managed at times, underperformance from the general roster was indeed our biggest bugaboo in 2021. The only position players that didn’t drop off significantly whether due to injuries or other reasons were Judge, Stanton, Torres and Stanton (and the latter two had already had drop offs in 2020 or before).
Loasiga held up his end in the bullpen, and to a lesser extent so did Greene. Chapman was fine with the exception of the most untimely collapse possible. As for the rest of the bullpen, we can be thankful for mid-season acquisitions.
The starting rotation was successful, but in an odd way. The innings counts for the most part were abysmal, and it seems every single starter picked a bad time to slump rather than to pick the team up. They were truly not as good as their numbers, though not horrible.
Somehow this team just hasn’t jelled into one of championship caliber. Now we have to see if the Yankees are going to be patient and expect bounce back seasons from existing players or make mass player movement the winter target…

Looks like odds of Boone back are high I guess Hal doesn't watch the games. He is making money.

It is good news because it means the Yankees don't recognize they have a problem. Or don't care.

Pitching is always at a premium. You can never ignore it. Give me five Cy Youngs on this staff and I’ll still be looking for a Walter and Randy Johnson.

Welcome back dome! So glad to have you back! Hope you have been well! Thanks Kaybli and Every One Else: Been just OK; dealing with some serious health issues...will be addressing those in the next couple of months.
Tequila has never been Green--All African Grey's look just like her--Why they have Grey in there name.
Sad talk about Boone maybe staying = Wouldn't surprise me --real bad for Yankees--good for me--I will bet once again that Yanks do NOT win WS in 2022 (will see).
Won the Four Golf Majors--lost big on Ryder Cup--Won $$$ on Houston Astro's & maybe Braves--Won big on my Yankee bet, etc.
Why do I bet against the Yankees ( A team I love) for the last Ten Years? = Because they are truly F..ked Up. They keep doing basically the actions, making the similar/same decisions every season and expecting different/better results. They have now become basically a punch line for jokes.
Did any of you listened to Boone's press Conference after the loss to Boston?
He basically said: " Well I guess the Other Teams have finally caught up with us...
"HE SAID WHAT???"
Shit, the Other Teams have not only caught up with us BUT have Passed us, like years ago = Houston, Red Sox, TB, Blue Jays, White Sox, Oakland, Dodgers, Giants Brewers, Braves, etc.
My God, Boone actually believes that the Other Teams just caught up with us = Another reason he needs to go ASAP, along with a number of our players..............................
Just finished building a new home for family of Five and just about finished with a new indoor Bathroom for a 66-year old woman = her first indoor bathroom in her entire life.
Still taking care of like 8 families around 45 folks/children, etc.
Watched a Lot of Yankee games--their attitude, excitement level was basically very low in dugout.
On the Other hand watched a ton of Blue Jays Games--BOY, what great attitude, excitement--they really enjoy playing the game.
Us Yankees looked like Roman Soldiers all Neat & Trim--while Blue Jays look like Atila the Hun type--boy do they have fun (Probably the team to be next year in AL East--depends on what to do off-season, etc.).
WE need to drop the Clean Cut look and we need some one our team to be a Rebel Rouser in the Dug Out & cause some excitement, etc.
Well enough said. Good to be back. Got to go to see of Tequila has turned GREEN???
