Still don't want Girardi back. Hopefully, he wants to spend more time with his family. Yes, I can see him hanging out at the zoo with his chimpanzee relatives.

I desperately want Girardi back. Everyone that hates Girardi is a monday morning QB. He's one of the best managers in baseball and he got this team to overachieve by quite a bit. I'm going to be very upset if Girardi doesn't return next season. People overvalue managers, I don't think there's a huge difference between any of these post season guys. The Yanks will be fine if Girardi comes back but they will fine of he leaves too.

Look at the cavs they fired the coach while in 1st place late in the season and still won the championship. A great team usually overcomes managers abilities. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I read on another site that "Girardi has had family problems last 3 years," Is that just speculation or has something occurred I'm in the dark about?

I think I heard him say”WE can get a lot better” when referring to the team. He’s in his 50s making 4-5 mill per. He’s coming back lol. I’m ok with that

Judging by his press conference last night, it sure appears Girardi wants to come back. He'll probably get a 5 year deal at around 7 million per.

I just had a meeting with Ruth and the dogs and they said I was allowed to take the job for only $3M per year year, and all I have to get is a one-year contract...

Two big jobs just came off the board in the NYM and Sox. Good bet that if he had interest in leaving those teams would have wanted to talk with him. That they both were just now announced makes me more confident he’s coming back.
