Yankees did what they could while dealing with payroll issues (Thank You Stanton) and without completely mortgaging their future. Despite that ... the Orioles are the team to beat for the forseeable future Super young team coming off 101 Wins, added a former Cy young, and they they have 5 of the top 32 MLB propspects knocking on the door Mortgaging their future ? Thats all they have been doing by waiting for prospect after prospect over the last ten years . Up to this point they have been wasting year after year of prime cole and judge. For what? Guys like andujar , florial , frazier , chance adams, schmidt , king , garcia , peraza , cabrera . And what have they gotten from waiting for all those guys? Nothing , or nothing yet . But yeah lets waste whatever prime years cole and judge have left for jones , who had been in the minors for 2 years and an unproven pitcher . Wasn't Judge a prospect ? How happy would you be today if Cashman had traded him weeks before the start of the '17 season for the reigning MVP of the National League ?

And thats one guy out of about 12 or more prospects that they held on to in the last 15 years that have amounted to nothing or close to it so far . Here are more guys they wasted years in , gary sanchez , greg bird , the killer b’s , eduardo nunez , ivan nova . Need i go on ?

Every player was a prospect at one point...obviously. Evidently, not as obvious as one would assume. Is this beating a dead horse mantra a vestigial virus from the previous forum? Is there a treatment available? Anything from a vaccine to something over the counter?

Is there a treatment available? Anything from a vaccine to something over the counter? Same question can be asked of the people who keep overhyping prospects every couple of years to the point that they are untouchable . I mean they have learned little in the last 15 years and keep doing the same thing over and over

Is there a treatment available? Anything from a vaccine to something over the counter? One thing I just can’t understand. Once the horse is dead… and a bloody pulp… most quit beating it. After what seems like years it dries up and it’s still getting beaten until it becomes dust. The hooves have been made into glue already. The only thing is suppose we can do is drop out of the conversation at that point and award the final point of the discussion, as that seems to be the goal of the poster, who seems to see that as a confirmation of being the winner of the discussion…

If so then that also seems to be someone with low self esteem that is appearing to be someone different in order to feel better about himself. I recognize the type because I had to overcome that after emerging from my family to build my own life. I can therefore offer empathy, but not at the cost of my honesty, and I must emphasize the difference between empathy and sympathy, which are completely unrelated. Each of us deals with something for which we tend to compensate in some way.

At least you seem to recognize the issue. Let’s all work on it. Maybe find some new catch lines like molesting the llama or something… 😂

Is there a treatment available? Anything from a vaccine to something over the counter? i'm afraid it's a fatal condition. the only treatment is ignore. it's a case of a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. generally pollutes any thread with his toxicity.
