Game over, Yankees wins! POTG...Soto HM..Poteet POTG has to be Poteet Either one is fine with me. I had thoughts prior to posting it to switch it around. Poteet delivered over my expectations.

so w nasty nestor getting today's start, has there been an announcement where gil slots in. originally it schmidt-fri, gil-sat and nestor-sun. they could have slotted gil into one of yesterday's games. instead they brought poteet up for a one-off. thought maybe they'd piggyback him w gil, however then they'd still need a starter for wednesday's game. at this point, guessing they're buying additional rest for gil w him starting wednesday.

soto and poteet players of the game. might even give the nod to poteet because it was so unexpected. Poteet came through big time. The Yankees didn't have to pitch Gil. The Yankees bullpen wasn't overused considering they played a day night doubleheader.

I was in Breckinridge on a business trip once in winter. The client said that the business people in town all hoped for 3-4” every night to keep everything clean and pristine looking. The he said they actually bother measuring inches. They only count it when it’s in feet… 😂

I once lived on the Palmer Divide, about 20 miles east of Monument. On June 13, 2001, we had a 7” snowfall. I threw my golf clubs in my truck and went to Springs Ranch Golf Course and played my 18. By the time I got home, the snow was all gone… Always wanted to tee off in Leadville at 10,000 feet. Must be a kick… Highest course in the nation, I believe…
