Abandon hope. The Cardinals can fire Mike Schildt after basically doing what Boone has done over just three years. The Red Sox can fire managers like Terry Francona and John Farrell who actually won rings if they can't win another after four years or so.
Guess they have higher standards than the Yankees.

Well, there is some good news out there. John Sterling said he will be cutting back on the number of radio broadcasts next year. Considering how befuddled he has been lately, that is good news for those fans who like to have some vague notion about what is happening during a game.

Teflon Torres was finally moved off SS, but Teflon Boone is going to be around for a while. It looks like the Yanks are determined to win with Boone in place, so we better put together one tremendous roster this winter…

I woke-up to this news and the first I did was vomit--the next thing I did after washing my face & brushing my teeth, was to start thinking of how many $$$ I will bet against MY YANKS in 2022???!!!

My Six Year Plan will NOT WORK with Boone as Mgr.

I'm feeling really low about the decision to bring Boone back. Having to listen to his press conferences for the next three years has me wanting to join Dome in taking some mushrooms and tequila (not the bird). Just awful.

If it helps I have a 1965 Yankees Stars Jake Gibbs and Tom Metcalf Topps Card and a 1959 Marv Throneberry Topps card as well as a 45 of Tequila by the Champs. They might raise my net worth a little. |
