Is it Charlie Keller? Roy White? Vic Raschi? Jorge Posada? Hank Bauer? Chris Chambliss? Bobby Murcer? Jeter’s defense?
This list goes on… nominate others if I missed them and vote for up to 5 players…

With the caveat that I’m too young for a lot of the players, I voted Bernie. Five time all star, four time champion, and heart of the order bat for our 90s dynasty, he was always under appreciated.

Charlie Keller - lifetime OPS of .928 and an OPS+ of 152! We could have used those numbers in left field last season.

I also went with Bernie because he's been overlooked by a lot of Yankee fans in addition to MLB. Posada is also underrated and should have received more HOF consideration.

Remember, you can vote for up to 5 players.
I didn’t pick Bernie nor Roy White because I’ve seen so many articles and forum posts recognizing both of the as being under rated, which is recognition of their skills.
In retrospect Gil McDougald and Lou Pinella likely belong on the list, although McDougald also is in that list with Bernie and White…

I voted for Posada. Looking back on his career, I never gave Posada enough credit and wish we had him now. Though, his terrible base running always stuck in my craw. Another guy was Moose Skowron. From 1954-61, his numbers were pretty much the same. You could always count on Moose to hit. www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/skowrbi01.shtml

Pettitte and Posada are borderline HOFers and one of the best at their position during their playing days. Bernie was a great Yankee but he was not even in the group of the top CFers in the game.
Until Nettles gets his due in the OF shrine he gets the vote.

Did Nettles do something to upset ownership or the front office that I wasn't aware of?

Nettles wrote a book at the end of his Yankee career that was critical of Steinbrenner. I'm sure most of it was true but the Boss wasn't a fan and held a grudge.

I'm sure most of it was true but the Boss wasn't a fan and held a grudge. Makes sense. Thanks for informing me. I wasn’t aware.
